Safari
In my opinion the Safari is probably one of the most advanced yet easy to use machines available today . It is a very simple, turn on and go machine with capabilites of finding deep coins and relics even for the beginner. It doesnt have all the bells and whistles but it has everything you need to find objects at depth and I would put it up against any of the leading brands in the same price category and hands down, the safari would win. When you get into this price range and quality most other brands can be difficult to use and take time to get used to. With the Safari even a beginner with a little guidance could master this machine in a short time and I would put it in the same class as the Explorers and even the E-trac.
Recently I was showing someone who was interested in the Safari how the machine worked, I took him to one of my hunting spots and within about five minuites I had shown him how the machine works and how to pinpoint with it. He had used other brands before but this was his first time using a Safari, it was even his first time using a Minelab. the second hole he dug he found two Wheat back pennies. As he was digging the Wheat pennies out he told me he had another signal right next to the one he was digging that sounded really good, I swept my coil and my E-trac was telling me a Half dollar. He finished the hole he was in, re-swept and pinpointed the next target and It turned out to be a 1915 half dollar! Later he had found several more wheat pennies and a Standing Liberty Quarter.
